Ok guys (& girls),

Now that I'm sure it's the question that is on everyones minds. What the heck are we doing for new years eve? Possiabilities are -

1. Grahams House

2. Brads Party (if were even invited - Dibbs???)

3. A Pub

Ok There the only three I can think of, but please feel very free to add more possiabilities. And there is a time limit this so lets decide sharpish, it's only 3 days away!!!

Ok the Pro's and Con's of each venu as well please...

1. Grahams - a bit of a mission to get there, but once there would be excellent

2. Brads - a bit closer to home, could be good. But I don't know if we are invited???

3. Pub - Would suck because there would be too many people where ever we went.

Other peoples thoughts?

Ok, these are my thoughts:

My choice would be for everyone to meet in Tunbridge Wells EARLY, so we could all sit down (and maybe play some cards/drinking games and have a general laugh), and then for us all to get a taxi home (if we all club together that will not be very expensive), and see in the new year at someone's house (that's the tricky bit - any takers?!) or Brad's, if we were invited. That way, the evening is longer, with more purpose and it would be good fun all round.

I would not be able to make it should it be at Graham's house, for i'm working New Year's Day morning (yes, I have got the word mug written on my forehead).

The pub is out of the question im afraid Mr. Trumper, if you had seen what it was like on Christmas eve it will probablly be twice as bad. I think the only logical solution is a house party, but Grahams is to far away. How about Daves house???? we've never had any party at Daves before. All those in favour of Daves say I.

Well as usual, we seem to be leaving everything to the last minute! I will say immmediately I have been trying to persuade my parents to let us celebrate new years at my house but to no avail. They have rather inconsiderately just redecorated the place and say that they do not want the place ruined by a "bunch of young oiks." As it seems to me no-one else can host a party at their homes, I propose we give up with that idea and go along with Daves idea of going to a pub. If we get to the Wheelwrights early enough, we can occupy the booth in the far left corner. That should seat most people. By early, I mean about 4:30-5:00 in the afternoon. Hopefully the place will be empty at that time, unless everyone else has the same idea.
By going to the Wheelwrights, those who want to play cards can (something that probably cannot be done in Weatherspoons or the GB) and we can still wander along to the star to see other people.

The Star will of course be too crowded to stay in for long, Weatherspoons is just out of the question and the GB will probably be crowded as well.

Just out of interest, does anyone know how many people have nothing planned for tommorrow night?
