I thought it was great - i reckon i'm lucky I havent read the books, cos if I had I would of probably ripped it to shreads due to differences (anyone in my history class will understand this, given my obession with maps being right/wrong).

Paul no doubt thought there was too much scenery, which was plently obvious as he cringed at every panoramic shot in the film.

Excellent film, go see. See the first one first tho, or you wont have a bloody clue whats going on.

Oh, before I forget. You like Gollum Matt? i thought he was done well, apparently he's in the running for an Oscar.

Yesssssssssss my preciousssssss...

Gollum was the absolute Man in TTT I think they did his character justice! which is a relife. However there were some pretty big changes to the book, although all quite nessacary I'm sure. Hat's off to Peter Jackson for a very excellent job. The film didn't finnish quite where I thought it would (in relation to the second book - the film finished quite short of the end), and that was the part of the book I was most looking forward to seeing... so I was slightly dissapointed there, but it means that the 3rd film is going to be even Bigger and even more amazing! and I have to wait another year! ba!

But with a battle like that with monstrous Orc's, very cool Ents, comic relife from Gimli and special affects to die for who can complain? Certainly not me!

Please release Return of the King 10 months early Jackson... pleeeeeease... bounce

ARGH!! THE SCENERY!!!!!! Shanking i'm melting! MELTING!!!
In honesty, it was a kickass film well done to those who took me to see it, excellent call. I was cringing however to prove a point, THERE IS TOO MUCH scenery in the first one, and the second one, and no doubt the third. In my humble opinion if the first book is as bad as the first film, i'm starting from The Two Towers. Elijah Wood the worst actor ever, i'm sure he's not doing Tolkein's character any favours. However, Big battle + storyline - that idiot baggins = good film a Paul rating of Thumb Thumb Thumb Thumb what out of I hear you say? well you'll have to guess, and yes i'm fully aware that i am alone in my opinions. Actually Paul, in the books Frodo and Sam are pretty much that sickening, so its almost spot on.

All go see... 12 months of reflection until the next one Very Happy :D

Wonder if they'll make the Hobbit?

Now being of the fortitude that is cained i believe that the TTT was the sequal and therefore the 2nd film in a small chain of 3. However my deductive powers are not what they used to be so with this nagging doubt,of which i can do absolutly nothing, i have come to believe that this is not the 2nd film but the third!! Strange as this may seem i no longer feel my legs sitting in this position. So with that in fore thought i have switched positions to that more comfortable, now relaxed i can continue my evaluation of that there film earler on. So in conclusion i havent actually seen it yet, hence forth i will. Jasmin, for that is the name of thy trusty steed, set forth unto hither and we shall, with prevailing wind, see that there film i was talking bout earlier on of which i have no idea what its called, is about etc. OOOOhh there are worse charaters than that there hero dude, have u seen east emmerdale street?

No, just very special friends.

I'm sure if we get Trina to come along, she'll correct me but I think Sam gets married at the end when he becomes Major of the Shire. (I doubt that'll be in the film).

Do you think there are Hobbit pimps?
Maybe Bilbo had all that money from pimping little Hobbit-Ho's?
Maybe Sam returns to the shire and becomes the 'Pimp-Daddy', if you will.
Just a thought.

Hi i just joined Very Happy

Sam gets married to Rose when he returns to the shire and has 13 kids Elanor, Frodo Gardner, Rose, Merry, Pippin, Goldilocks, Hamfast, Daisy, Primrose, Bilbo, Ruby, Robin and Tolman he was a very busy boy Wink He also becomes mayor 7 times and is well into his late 90's early 100's when he passes to the grey havens.

And no Nick they aren't pimps Smile

I'm surprised they bothered to make a sequel to Lord of the Rings. What's the point of strecthing it out when it had such a good ending? I predict they definitely won't make a third - after all, where would they get their ideas from?

Told you Trina would show up and correct me.

And yes, I did mean Mayor. I blame my human hands and cheap keyboard.

Gotta feel sorry for Goldilocks tho. Hamfast isnt particularly kind either.
